Dr. David Wright
David F. Wright, Ph.D., PGA holds two doctorates. His areas of specialization are in Research, the Psychology of Learning and Psychophysiology. He was a member of the full time faculty of the University Of Southern California School Of Medicine for 4 years and he has been a member of the clinical faculty of the School of Medicine for over 25 years. Dr Wright has been a golf teaching professional since 1982. He is the author of 4 books on golf and numerous golf magazine and Professional Journal articles, videos and audio CDs. His work appeared in the 2011 book published by Sports Illustrated and Golf Magazine: The Best Putting Instruction Book Ever and he has contributed a chapter on Stance Width and Posture in a Sports Illustrated & Golf magazine book on “Drive the Ball With Power and Accuracy“.Dr Wright conducted a three year golf research project in Dr. Frank Jobe’s Biomechanics Lab at Centinela Hospital in Los Angeles from 2004 thru 2007. He has been described by Sports Illustrated and Golf Magazine as the “Balance Expert”, and Golf Digest of Japan referred to him as the “Foremost Expert on Balance” and “…leader in balance instruction across all sports and industries.”
Dr Wright was also a Coach for University of Southern California Men’s and Women’s Golf Teams from 1999 through 2008. During his tenure the teams combined to win 2 Team and 3 Individual NCAA National Championships, 7 Regional NCCA Championships and 2 PAC 10 Conference Championships.
Adrian is a Class “A” PGA golf professional with 10 years of experience in the golf industry. He served as a golf professional at courses in both the United States and Mexico; La Cantera in San Antonio, Texas, Vail Golf Club in Vail, Colorado, as well as Querencia and Campestre San Jose in Los Cabos, Baja California. Appointed Head Professional at El Cid Golf & Country Club in September 2014, Adrian joined El Cid´s team to continue his passion to grow the game of golf. He comes to us most recently from Club Campestre de Chihuahua as the Director of Golf where he managed the golf operation and club tournaments that hosted more than 25,000 rounds of golf each year. Adrian is committed to providing the highest standards in golf instruction. Whether you are an established player or a complete beginner, his knowledge, experience and ability will ensure your game goes from strength to strength.
Matt has been working in the golf industry for 10 years. He is a graduate of the Golf Academy of America, Carlsbad, CA. with a degree in Complex Golf Operations Management and Teaching. For the past year Matt has worked with Dr. Wright and the Wright Balance Golf Academy.
Vincent has been a full time Teaching Professional for 3 years. He was born and raised In Southern California. Vincent attended Cal Poly Pomona where he graduated with a degree in Communications. He continued his education at the Professional Golfers Career College in Temecula, CA. He is currently working with Dr. Wright in the Wright Balance Golf Academy as both a teaching and playing professional
